Stage 1 remap
A software-only remap for a standard car or van. No hardware changes needed.
Stage 2 remap
A remap matched to supporting hardware upgrades already fitted to the car.
Stage 3 remap
For heavily modified engines with major hardware upgrades, such as a larger turbo, calibrated around the parts.

How a remap works here
- You send your reg and tell us what you want from the vehicle.
- We scan for faults and check the vehicle is healthy enough to tune.
- We read the engine software and prepare a calibration for your vehicle.
- We write the new calibration, check for faults again and confirm it drives as it should.

What is vehicle remapping?
Vehicle remapping (ECU remapping) changes the software in your engine control unit so the engine delivers its power and torque differently. It’s done through the diagnostic port on most vehicles, with no mechanical changes.
How much power will I gain?
It depends on the engine, its condition and any existing modifications. We don’t publish generic figures. Send your reg and we’ll tell you what’s realistic for your vehicle.
Do you do Stage 2 and Stage 3 remaps?
Yes. We offer Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 remaps, and completely custom remaps for modified cars. Tell us your reg and what parts are fitted and we’ll advise which stage suits.
Do you remap vans?
Yes. We remap both cars and vans. Van remaps are usually about stronger low-down torque and easier towing or load carrying. See van remapping.
Can I go back to standard?
Ask us when you book. On most vehicles the original software can be put back.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. A remap is a modification, so you should tell your insurer before driving the vehicle.
Do you cover Glasgow?
Yes. We’re in Paisley, a short drive from Glasgow, and customers come to us from across the west coast and throughout Scotland.
Do you work with customers outside the west coast?
